JENTERANEWS.com – Posyandu’s role must be optimized, as the Stunting Prevention intervention movement must be completed this month so that the actual number of stunting cases in Sukabumi district is known. This was conveyed by Deputy Regent Sukabumi, H. Iyos Somantri, while monitoring the Stunting Prevention intervention movement in Cicurug Subdistrict on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
The monitoring began at Kamboja Posyandu in Kamboja Village, Rt 003/004, Cicurug Subdistrict. In this place, the Deputy Regent ensured that the intervention implementation with three main targets, namely pregnant women, infants-toddlers, and prospective brides (Catin), is carried out well and on target.
The Deputy Regent emphasized that the handling of stunting in Cicurug Subdistrict is going well and according to target, and it is implemented through collaboration of all relevant elements.
“Insha Allah, the Stunting Prevention intervention movement will be completed soon, before the 25th, because it is scheduled to be completed this month,” he explained.
To succeed in this movement, the Deputy Regent urged the community, especially pregnant women, those with infants-toddlers, and prospective brides, to intensively undergo examinations at the nearest posyandu.
“We hope for the support of the community, especially the main targets, to control and be recorded at the posyandu,” he concluded.(*)
